Welcome to The Gospel Project for Kids: At Home

A simple and meaningful way to fuel family discipleship in your home — in partnership with what your kids are learning at church.

The Gospel Project: At Home provides a quarterly devotional packet that connects directly to what the Pre-K through 8th Grade Sunday School classes are learning each week. These packets are made available as option to help your family grow together in the gospel and in worship. Find more family discipleship resources at lexcc.org/family

Included In the packet

Weekly Family Worship Guide – A simple devotion and discussion for the whole family.
Weekly Prayer Guide – Morning and evening prayer prompts to guide conversation about God throughout the week.
Weekly Family Serve Activity – A hands-on opportunity to live out the gospel in your community.
Weekly Family Fun Activity – A creative way to reinforce what you’ve learned together.

Each lesson in the packet is labeled with a title that corresponds to the titles and dates on the schedule (see the schedule at bottom of page). Each week, we recommend going over the lesson that was taught the previous Sunday so that you can begin devotions with the question: “What did you learn on Sunday?”

Getting Started

Choose a consistent day and time each week for a short, intentional time of family worship. You only need this packet and a Bible! Each session lasts 10–15 minutes (or longer if you’d like).

A sample Weekly Family Worship Plan

Gather Together – Ask the question: What did you learn on Sunday?
Read Together – Open your Bible and follow the short devotion.
Discuss and Pray – Use the provided questions and prayer prompts.
Engage and Live It Out – Choose one or both activities for the week.

Another option can be to work the questions and discussion in through organic conversation during the week. The primary goal is to have ongoing conversations with our children about who God is so that as a family you can grow together in the gospel and in worship!
