What is the Gospel?
The gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ. Each one of us is guilty of rebelling against the good and living God who created us in his image. We deserve eternal punishment, but Jesus Christ came to save us.
When we put our faith in Jesus Christ we are admitting our sinful rebellion against God and we are believing that the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus in our place are all that we need in order to be brought into an eternal relationship with our Creator God.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
