Who Should Consider This Trip?
Incoming freshmen to senior students who enjoy working with children, serving in hands-on ministry, and building relationships. Great for those wanting to grow in humility, teamwork, and gospel service.
Trip Overview
Dates: June 21-27, 2026
Partnering with: Jeff Waller / GMTC & a local church in Kansas City
Grades: Incoming freshmen through seniors
Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Team Size: Max of 10 students
Cost: $300 per person (includes meals, lodging, and transportation). Students should bring extra “recreation” money if they would like.
This is a repeat of the trip we offered last year, helping a partnering church in Kansas City run a full VBS ministry for their community. Students will help with things like planning, organizing, teaching, leading games, assisting in crafts, and building relationships alongside leadership. Last year’s team gave overwhelmingly positive feedback—this was a meaningful, relational, and gospel-centered experience.
LCC is planning to take the students to meet Jeff Waller in Kansas City. Jeff Waller and his team will then oversee/chaperone the students through the week, and Jeff will bring the students back to LCC at the end of the week.
