‘I did not grow up in a Christian home but as I reflect back on what I remember about my early years, I believe God was present and preparing me for what would be a very long journey to becoming a believer. Fast forward to 2014 and a job transfer that moved us to Tennessee. A co-worker invited me to attend a Bible Study Fellowship meeting with him. I immediately began to connect with men who were clearly living their life for Christ.

We attended a church with a Pastor who had a passion for God and preaching the truth. It was at this church I was baptized. While I emerged from the water the same sinner I had been beforehand, I took this confession of my faith seriously and knew I had to be a better person and strive to please God. John 14: 6-7. “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” These 2 short verses give me the utmost confidence and assurance that Jesus is truly Lord and Savior of all mankind, and that my hope for eternity with God in Heaven is in Him.’
