Awana and Fellowship Meal

Awana and Fellowship Meal

The 2025-26 Awana year kicks off on September 17, 2025 and concludes with the Awana celebration on April 29, 2026.

Awana classes at LCC are part of our Wednesday Fellowship Evenings. Wednesday evenings are designed for midweek fellowship and encouragement. There is a meal at 5:30 (everyone is invited!) along with Awana classes from 6-7:30 each evening. There are also adult classes that provide a great opportunity learn and get connected at LCC. Check out the LCC Awana page for more information!

What do we do at Awana?
  • Bible memorization centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ
  • Teaching what it means to have a relationship with God.
  • A Christ-centered foundation that shapes a biblical worldview
  • Fun games and activities
  • Positive friendships
  • Consistent and positive training on how to thrive in group settings
  • Support for parents to spiritually nurture their children. Ask how we can help!
How does it look?
  • Each evening begins with an open invitation to have dinner with us at 5:30.
  • Class time includes learning the Bible and memorizing Bible verses.
  • Recess time includes a variety of games and activities outside or in the gym.
  • We close each evening with all students singing worship songs together and parent pickup at 7:30.
Conversations starters for you and your child:
  • Why do you think God loves us so much?
  • Do you remember the verses you said at Awana club this week?
  • Can you teach this week’s verse to me? (This is a great way for kids to learn the verses themselves.)
  • What do you remember from this week?
  • What was one of the best conversations you had this week?
